A Tribute to Venice Film Festival

A Tribute to Venice Film Festival

The ultimate and most glamorous vintage photographs  of the Venice Film Festival. A real acclamation to the  most stunning, fashionable, and iconic images with  its’ muses.

Since it’s first appearance as the Esposizione d’Arte Cinematografica in 1932, Venice Film Festival, it’s been the most glamorous event, showing off its delightful taste wether for films and of course for fashion.

This year with multiple nominations for the Golden Lion this year: Don’t Worry Darling, Olivia Wilde’s apocalyptic thriller starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles; Blonde, Ana de Armas’s controversial Marilyn Monroe biopic; and Bones And All, which reunites Luca Guadagnino and Timothée Chalamet for the first time since 2017’s Call Me By Your Name.

An always, in Venice it’s not just a screening of great films, but a real runway when it comes to the Red Carpet. We were nothing but astonished with Styles’ and Chalamets’ carpet looks, for men style fashion, while the presence of Cate Blanchett in support of her forthcoming biopic Tár showcased frothy Armani gowns and dramatic McQueen looks.

We indeed enjoyed and got a delightful experience by all these incredible styles worn by every single attendee of the event. Instead, today, we wanted to give a throwback Thursday, by remembering vintage photographs of great fashionable moments in Venice throughout the years. There is a long way back to 1932…
